Personal FitnessHailing from the Highlands of Scotland, David Calder competed in top-level sport for 9 years. David skied for The British Freestyle Ski Team and during this time trained intensively with top American, French and Finnish ski and fitness coaches, spending 5 winters in Colorado and 3 in France.
In 1998 he retired from world cup skiing and at the age of 26 he moved to London to pursue a career in Health and Fitness. Before long David was managing the Health Club at Claridge’s and then went on to run an exclusive personal training practice from Claridge’s Health Club.
David attracted a wide range of people in London from leading Asset Managers and Art Dealers to Film Directors. He has now returned to Scotland and has teamed up with us at Loyd & Townsend-Rose to offer you his exclusive personal training and body treatments in the comfort of your residence.
David has worked with many different people over the years and he has helped them achieve weight loss, great posture and muscle tone. He also works with many sportsmen and women from golfers and tennis players to skiers and endurance cyclists and still regularly flies down to London to work with clients.
Combining his skills as a qualified reflexoligist, trainer and massage therapist David is also able to help his clients with back pain, muscle stiffness, injury rehabilitation and stress.
