CourtyardThe Courtyard at Ross augments the room stock by a further 16 rooms in 3 separate accommodations. The St. George (pictured on the left) is a six bedroom cottage that makes one side of the square, while Catherines is a three bedroom cottage making another side. The apartment wing (pictured below), attached and internally accessible to the main Tower, adds a further six bedrooms in four interconnected apartments, each of which is self-contained, making the third side. And the lovely private Chapel completes the square.
This configuration allows for parties from one to twelve to hire individual self-catered units, or for parties of up to 30 to self cater in the Courtyard accomodation. The kitchen in one of the apartment units - Mrs. Marshalls - can serve up to 30 people, and there is a large hall in the St George apartment where parties of up to 40 can all congregate. Exclusive hire of all the accommodation (40 people in 20 bedrooms with the 5 bedrooms in the main tower included) and the entire estate is a popular option. Apartment WingThe Apartment Wing is attached to the main tower, and consists of four self-contained units, each with its own kitchen and public rooms. The kitchen from Mrs. Marshalls has an internal door that opens into the main Tower, and each apartment is likewise accessible to the one adjacent. These apartments can be let individually, or to a group of individuals, or to a family with the interconnecting doors left open, or in conjunction with the main Tower. |
