Corrour Lodge is without doubt one of the foremost 21st century 'castles' in Scotland. Designed by a well known Los Angeles architect called Moshe Safdie, the lodge sits on the site of the 2 former shooting lodges and has unparalleled views over the loch. It is set in the heart of a 40,000 acre Highland wildnerness with a natural abundance of wildlife.
Staying at Corrour is taking privacy to extremes: find yourself staying in a magic state-of-the-art house in the heart of a scottish wilderness. There you can experience the wild and romantic countryside that lies spread out beyond the enormous windows, as well as the extreme comfort within.
Up to 30 guests can stay at Corrour with 7 couples in the main Lodge together with up to 14 children in the Bunk Room and then there are 3 adjacent apartments, Schoolhouse, the Chapel and the Cooks unit that will accommodate another 10-14 guests.
While there is deer stalking and trout fishing available it is possible to go on organised photographic 'shoots' as well and there are masses of activities to be enjoyed for all ages from the sauna, gym and Games Room in the Lodge to the outdoor walks, sporting and exploring of this amazing natural wilderness.
