Introduction

Easter Ross is amongst the driest districts in the United Kingdom, but its northern latitude can be chilly, so winter log fires burn in the Morning Room and the cosy 'Buffalo Room'. Vases of cut flowers from the garden add splashes of colour to the polished wood. Oil paintings, prints and memorabilia adorn the walls.

The range of activities available from Glenmorangie House is extensive. Glenmorangie distillery is within a short drive and Royal Dornoch Golf Club and other less testing courses are nearby. Salmon and trout fishing, game shooting and stalking, pony trekking and beach walks are all available.
