Built by Baroness Thyssen-Bornemisza in the resort’s early years, Chalet Eugenia has remained the winter residence of the same family ever since. It is a truly magnificent building that has been beautifully furnished and lovingly maintained, displaying many of the original period features.
Sleeping up to fifteen guests, the chalet offers eight individually designed bedrooms over four floors. Most rooms have their own balconies with fabulous southerly views of the impressive Gotschna.
The main drawing room with its central pillared fireplace is the focus of the chalet which also boasts a stunning dining room and panelled study. An intimate second dining room is equipped with the original wood-fired oven in which the chef will prepare many of the region’s special dishes.
