Art, Architecture and Patronage in 17th and 18th century Scotland. A specialist architectural tour based at Ardgowan Castle and hosted by Lady Shaw Stewart and her sister Caroline Knight.
A gentle tour through central Scotland, exploring some of the wonderful gardens on offer. Guests will be based at Birkhill or Myres Castle, both in Fife.
Hatton Castle, the home of David and Jayne James-Duff, is the base for this suggested tour.
Alternatives are Dochfour, the ancestral home of the Baillie family since the 14th century, or
Innes House, a fine Scottish rennaissance building dating from 1640.
